At Caramel Monster, we are committed to using carefully sourced, high-quality materials that meet the highest standards of craftsmanship. In partnership with our manufacturing team, we strive to incorporate the most sustainable fabrics available, including OEKO-TEX certified linen, GOTS organic cotton, and deadstock materials sourced from local suppliers.

• OEKO-TEX Standard 100: Our OEKO-TEX certified linen is free from harmful chemicals, ensuring it's safe for both people and the planet. The fabric is soft, breathable, and becomes even more comfortable with each wear.
• GOTS Certified Organic Cotton: Many of our knit pieces are made from GOTS-certified organic cotton, grown without pesticides or genetically modified seeds. Organic cotton uses 91% less water and emits 46% less CO2 compared to conventional cotton, making it a more sustainable choice for both our communities and the environment.

We prioritize the use of natural, organic, regenerated, and recycled fibers, as well as safe synthetics and naturally derived ingredients, in everything we create.

 
Our Packaging

We are committed to eco-friendly packaging solutions. Our packing materials are made from bio- based, reusable, and compostable materials to minimize environmental impact.

• Packing Bags & Mailers: Made from bio-based, reusable, and compostable materials.
• Garment Bags: Biodegradable and made from cornstarch.
• Post Satchels: 100% compostable mailers for shipping.
• Hangtags: Made from certified recycled paper and cardboard.
• Labels & Care Labels: Crafted from cotton, not polyester.
• Cardboard Boxes: 100% recyclable boxes for larger orders with three or more items.

Our Improvements

We offer sizes from XXS to 2XL and are continually working to expand our range. Our goal is to provide a true representation of how our products fit different body types. We refine our cuts and fits based on continuous feedback from our community, always prioritizing their input to ensure we're meeting their needs.

Our Practices

We are dedicated to sustainability and reducing our environmental impact. Here's how we put that into practice:

• Labels: We use cotton labels instead of polyester.
• Buttons: We're transitioning to natural-material buttons, phasing out plastic.
• Leftover Fabrics: Repurposed into cute accessories for our customers.
• Hang Tags: We attach hang tags solely to provide product information, not for branding.
• Spare Buttons & Straps: We do not include them in our garments but keep a stock on hand for customers who need extras.
• Made-to-Order: Our made-to-order garments help minimize waste and offer a more personalised experience for our customers.
• Returned Items: We collect returned items with flaws for re-making or resale, ensuring nothing goes to waste.
• Repairs: We encourage customers to return any flawed items for repair, helping to extend the life of their garments whenever possible.

 
Our Initiatives

We actively support a range of charitable projects and are committed to giving back to communities. Currently, we are backing the following initiatives: Autism Resource Centre Singapore, Care Corner Singapore, Giving.sg (Make-A-Wish), Laws for Paws Vietnam, Cap La Yeu Thuong Vietnam, and other local projects.
